Enjoy America at her best in the Dutch Country roads region of Pennsylvania.

Welcome to Dutch Country Roads!

A collection of towns and counties located in south central PA, our region is a refreshing mix of old and new. Here, the traditional ways of the Amish, the sticky goodness of shoofly pie, and the heady scent of fresh-mown hay meet the thrilling sensation of a roller coaster, the luxury of world-class resorts, and the rich sounds of symphonies and factory tours. Bring the family, and see why the Dutch Country Roads region is a place to explore again and again.

Play Outside

Perry County is a welcome retreat for visitors in search of the ‘simple life.’ Rolling hills and picturesque farmland frame the many small towns waiting to be discovered. The region is dotted with 15 historic covered bridges (“kissing bridges” as the PA Dutch call them); ideal for a Sunday afternoon drive or date night! Find a treasure trove of antiques at any of the numerous stores along highways and back roads. But a trip to Perry County wouldn’t be complete without stepping on to the Appalachian Trail, relaxing at Little Buffalo State Park or sipping some fine Pennsylvania Wine at Hunter’s Valley Winery.
