Play Outside
Perry County is a welcome retreat for visitors in search of the ‘simple life.’ Rolling hills and picturesque farmland frame the many small towns waiting to be discovered. The region is dotted with 15 historic covered bridges (“kissing bridges” as the PA Dutch call them); ideal for a Sunday afternoon drive or date night! Find a treasure trove of antiques at any of the numerous stores along highways and back roads. But a trip to Perry County wouldn’t be complete without stepping on to the Appalachian Trail, relaxing at Little Buffalo State Park or sipping some fine Pennsylvania Wine at Hunter’s Valley Winery.
