Explore the classic favorites of Sicily, Piedmont, Trentino, and Campania at Mangia Qui, which prepares delicious gourmet meals from fresh, locally grown produce and meats.
From sizzling steaks to seafood to pasta, the New American cuisine at The Firehouse will please your palate. This restaurant in a restored 1871 firehouse offers a variety of dining options, from a secluded, private table to an area large enough to accommodate parties of up to 60.
Day Two
Today, you're hitting the road to experience the tastes of our downhome goodness. Wake up bright and early and head on over to Bender's Potato and Produce Barn, in the charming town of Chambersburg, where you can savor a fusion of flavors. Just a hop and a skip over is Shatzer's Fruit Market and its 900-acre orchard.
Next, you'll head up north to the town of Biglerville for Barbour's Fruit Market, where you'll find some of the most magnificent fruit in the state. You should also stop by the Hollabaugh Brothers Market, where they've been farming for more than 50 years. Choose from an assortment of home-grown fruits and vegetables, fresh baked goods, and jarred goods at the retail market.
Need a place to stay? In the heart of Apple Country and a mere eight miles from the Gettysburg battlefields is the Canter Berry Tails Apple Ranch. Experience the lifestyle of years ago by renting an 1882 center-hall colonial farmhouse smack-dab in the middle of a beautiful apple orchard.

Who doesn't love a food festival? Our Dutch Country Roads offer you an abundance of agricultural fairs and food festivals throughout the year. One local favorite is the Shippensburg Fair. Watch a cow-judging contest, bid on a chocolate cake at an auction, visit the petting zoo, or simply enjoy the home-grown food and live music. The Susquehanna Heartland Winetrail Event at Hunters Valley Winery lets you wine-hop through some of the finest wineries in the state.
